THE STYLE COCKTAIL|A DELICIOUS MIX OF BRANDED AND THRIFT.

Dove Elixir Hair Oil

Dove recently launched 'Dove Elixir' - Dove's very first range of precious hair oils with real ingredients; a blend that provides the power of overnight oiling in just 30 minutes. .
Me being a hardcore believer of oiling hair before the hair wash was very keen on trying this new range.

And yeah I also accept that I was excited about this partly because of how amazing the Elixir bottle looks.

And I went ahead, bought it and tried for 15 days. And yepp I am happy with it. :)

Dove Elixir Hair Oil comes in 3 variants. They claim to be made with real ingredients like the blooming roses and oils of playful lavenders and wild hibiscus infused with almond, olive and argan oil respectively. I got the one with blooming roses. The real rose petals settled in the glass vial looked very attractive.

Pros:
  • Fragrant. It has a very soothing aroma. The one which is not too strong.
  • Hairfall has reduced to an extent.
  • And yes it does add moisture to the hair and controls frizz to some extent.
Cons:
  • It can't be used as serum or after-wash hair oil. The hair becomes greasy and attracts more dust. I can't forget that Bad Hair Day I had cause of this mistake.
  • The glass bottle though very pretty is not travel friendly. It's too delicate.
The most sexy thing about Dove Elixir Hair Oil is it's 'look and feel'. The the tinge of hues this liquid has makes it all the more appealing.

If you still stick to what your mom has taught you and love oiling your hair before a wash, you should definitely try Dove Elixir Hair Oil. And let me know about your experience.

Do connect with me on Facebook and Twitter. Hope to see you there.
Love,

  1. This product works well for those who don't have dandruff but if you have got the problem of dandruff then this may increase your problem, as it happened with me. But otherwise the oil is excellent.. Very good smell, nourishes your hair and makes them really soft..Jamaican Black Castor Oil
