#OOTD

I was so bored of wearing jeans and pants everyday but it being winter I had no other option.

Today, I decided to give a damn to the chill and tried to keep myself warm with shorter hem line.

This purple Hoodie is my fav winter essential.

Combined it with the black dungree and I was good to go. :)

Things that rock my week... Jan 20

Highlight of this spectacular week was mainly shopping! The sale season was completely put to use.

I repeat no amount of shopping is ever enough. There is always something new and interesting somewhere and somehow I detect it, always!

So got these super comfortable and cute Juicy Couture flip flops at an amazing price.

Since then have I have been wearing them everywhere.

One evening while just loitering around with friends found this another Chinese joint named Lomchin Wok. Which is a combination of authentic Chinese and Thai food.

Yummy is the first word that comes to my mind.

One of my dearest friend took me to a stationary shop to show me a weird pen. She knew I would like it as eccentric as I am.

A key to a Merc and a pen in one! :P

I decided to surprise Mr.S with Ferrari instead. :)

An other breezy evening was full of light moments and silly fun!

Bubbles, one of my fav things left me overjoyed.

It's been since long that I have been wanting to try something new. And my wish was granted with this new Sbarro outlet! Loved it and plan to visit again soon.

I was the happiest when I got my delivery from Flipkart.

A 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' tote, what more could I ask for!!!

The burst of colors and zing of this bag spices up any damn outfit in the world.

I always need an escape to some other world.

And this world of Revenge has got me hooked. I watch Revenge back to back for hours these days!

If you guys like Thrillers you should definitely watch it.

Want to make Beeritas?

Beeritas are born when you bring together Beer, Tequilla and some lemonade!

If you've never heard of Beeritas (also referred to as Beer Margaritas), just wait until you make and try this wonderful cocktail!

To get started making your first Beeritas, you will need the following Beeritas recipe items:

1 can lemonade
2 bottles of light beer of your choosing
Tequila
Large Pitcher

Now that you have your Beeritas recipe items gathered, Pour the lemonade in the pitcher. Next, add the beer. Then fill the empty can of lemonade with tequila and add to the pitcher. Finally, give it a good stir and serve.

Voila - your Beeritas are ready to be enjoyed. Pure bliss on a warm day!

Breezy Bi-color

Hey all you lovely people!Guess what is it that I am obsessing over? It has to be the fact that winter is still here.

And the best thing about it is I can still continue to layer my outfit. Layering is another thing I love love love!

So that’s exactly what I have been doing.

The knit skirt is snug and warm. And the length is super comfortable too.

Knit tee and the black jacket gives this extremely casual skirt a chic look.

I love the length of this jacket. Not too long, nor too short. Perfect!

And those large black buttons, love them!

And where's the fun if there's no mix n' match!

My Mom's dupatta gave it an eclectic element and I wore the outfit with that dupatta for the entire evening ahead. :)

And as this was my first outfit shoot, the end of shoot found me in of my silly moods.

Celebration is what I call it.

Happiness.

Hope you guys like this 'bi-colored' outfit.

Welcome Spring with Rustic Earrings

As winter slowly fades and the breeze has some shades warmth, we celebrate our first festival of the year.

Makar Sankrati, also known as the kite festival that welcomes spring. :)

Any festival is my chance to dress up and decorate my home.

And dress code for this festival being black I decided to go black n' ethnic.

The purple dupatta and leggings add freshness to the outfit and still feels rustic.

That is what I love.

What's special about this outfit is that the earrings are a gift from my dearest aunt.

Love her for finding such a masterpiece.

Oh ya she is crazy about accessories and finds better things than I do.

Aren't they just awesome!!

And coincidentally they are also for the IFB project. :)

Colors bring positivity. They makes us happy.

And more importantly they build an outfit. ;)

Enjoy the last few days of winter.

Glove Love

Mercury is dipping low. And such winters are very rare in Bombay.

So I am making the most of it with these warm, red gloves. I always loved wearing them but never really got a chance, except for few trips to hill stations.

I love the way they feel sooo very cozy! ♥

I love the pop of colors. It brings out the child in me. :)

It instantly makes any outfit vibrant. The grey doesn't look so bad now, does it?

So you gals, unpack your bags of warm clothes. Find something that is lost in that treasure trunk.

Because such winters and lovely opportunities are way too rare at some places! ;)

Things that rocked my week... Jan 6

1. At the end of the year, couple of days away from city in peace was all that I needed. Visiting lavish restaurants and then just chilling with friends at our place. One night was absolutely awesome, it was when we visited Ajanta resort. Situated on a small hill, surrounded by grasslands and all lighted up with tiny sparkly lights.

2. We bid 2012 goodbye on a lake. Watching the last sunset was an intense moment.

3. Mr. S pleasantly surprised me with this crystal diamond at the stroke of the midnight. My first gift of 2013, that too in the hue of emerald, which is the Pantone color of 2013. That's definitely some sign.

4. My first book of 2013 is 'Girl with a Pearl Earing'. Read a few pages and so far so good!

5. Finally watched the movie Life of Pi. And the animal lover in me really liked the movie. I really wished Richard Parker had looked back once before leaving Pi.

6. Weather in Mumbai is pleasantly cold for a change. I enjoyed a cold and breezy evening at this cafe which made me feel that I am sipping coffee in a French Cafe. I fell in love with this setting right away.

7. Had to design the Facebook cover for The Style Cocktail since long and I had been procrastinating it. Finally designed and it is up!!

8. I was surprised to see some interesting wall art in a nearby Chinese Food joint. I was always intrigued by wall art and plan to try it some day soon.

All in all an eventful and awesome first week!
