{ Tribal Instinct }

I am very open to experimenting when it comes to dressing.

This time I really crossed the line and tried something I hadn't ever before, over the top chunky neck piece and a headgear too.
A mix of tribal and bohemian!

I fell in love with the outcome.

Also, the palazzos are super comfortable and silky. Not once was I uncomfortable wearing what I am wearing!

The hues of gold, bronze and black blending so well is just what I had aimed for.

{ Cozy Up with Cardigan}

I believe, you don't always have to be at a club or party

to have fun.

I am that split personality who on one day has a blast socializing at a party and bam the very next day all I want to do is stay at home with an interesting book

with my phone switched off.

If you guys are anything like me, you might know the joys of a cozy cardigan, crisp weather, a book and cute stuff around you for the added cheer.

Here's a secret, I like dressing up a little for such cozy

days too. sssshhhhh! ;)

Well as they say, for girls, playing dress up starts as a kid and never ends.

{ Post Diwali Detox }

Looking in the mirror and wondering what happened to your perfect Diwali body? We know that we are all guilty of gorging on too many sweets and those oily snacks.

Also, how could we deny our loved ones from feeding us those tasty delicacies, no?

Don’t beat yourself up now, because I was doing that too. I realized in time that a Post-Diwali Detox might just be what I really need.

Here is what I have lined up for myself;

it will surely help you too.

Make H2O your best friend: Yes however clichéd it might be, drinking lots of water makes a lot of difference. You can also squeeze a lemon or two, add mint leaves to give it some flavor. Helps to eliminate toxins and takes away the bloated feeling, leaving you feeling lighter.
Go Green: Fresh leafy veges and fruits look good and feel good too. If you want to get back in shape really, from deep within your heart, you have to somehow eat green veges too. I know they don’t taste as good as cupcakes and pasta, but remember this – A moment on your lips, forever on your hips. You decide!
Walk walk walk: 30 min walk in the morning and then another 30 mins at night will keep you energized and help you burn calories too. I have my playlist and shoes ready. :)
Bye bye sugar: Cut back on sugar cause frankly the craving is just in your head and your body doesn’t need it all the time.

Do not starve yourself or go on ‘only juice’ diet. It’s not healthy and has bad repercussion.

Shy Enough

That soft, shimmery and delicate fabric draped around me feels so good against the skin.

The elegance that a Saree reflects can be found in no other outfit.

Infact I desperately wait for Diwali every year as it gives me a chance to feel so lady-like in a saree. :)

My mom jokes even now that I walk a bit too fast and a little tomboyish in a saree. She says it looks weird.

But what I see is, me being the epitome of elegance. ;)

Me feeling awesome is what matters, no?

It's said that Saree flatters any shape, which is so true. I have hardly seen anyone's figure looking awkward in a saree. Also, it suits the Indian figure perfectly.

What I really want is to be able to wear a saree on any given day, without suspicious stares from others.

*I am not eloping and getting married people, just a girl who really loves the silky Indian drape.*
