Indian Summer

So it's that time of the year when suddenly the streets are blazing, air is getting dry and you find the need to wear light clothes. It's the beginning of what can be a very harsh summer.

Here in Mumbai the rains get delayed. winter is hardly there but summer is too punctual.

It's already here and we gotta start dressing like it.

So here's my first summer outfit.

I wore a kurti after a really long time,
I used to wear it back then when I was a little chubbier than I am now. ;)

I felt that the only thing that flattered my body was a Kurti, but I was wrong.

Your body size doesn't matter when it comes to wearing different types of clothes,

as far as you wear clean and neat fittings, perfect lengths and confidence you are good to go.

I came across a perfect online store, LastInch, where you get Fashion for Plus Size Women.

You will find a variety of tank tops, one pieces and great colors as well.

Also if you think your daily wear is getting boring,

add a touch of denim or a quirky bag to spice up your simple outfits.

Lakme #HairIsFashion Makeover | Few weeks later...

DASH OF PURPLE

So you guys might know that recently I had a hair makeover at the Lakme Absolute Salon.

Got a purple tinge to my locks and they suggested straight side bangs.

Was in love with the way my hair felt and looked.

So here's a look at them few weeks after the makeover.

Purple color bled a little but there still is a purplish burgundy highlight to my hair.

My hair is naturally curly so I have to keep working for the straight side bangs.

I usually straighten it with a straightener or just skip it altogether sometimes.

This shade of mane looks amazing with neutrals. And purple goes well with blacks, whites and grays.

And these are the colors I have anyway been wearing a lot recently, so I am loving it!

Currently I am gravitated towards over sized tops, knit wears or even tees!

So in this look I paired an over sized gray knit with bodycon stripes skirt.

Gave it a dash of purple with the agate necklace from Blinglane.

Love how it balances the shade of my hair too. :)

Plan to get lighter and even more purple hair soon.

Saree & Blouse: Sareez.com | Earrings: Forever 21

I have raved about sarees before and I am doing it again.

Omg I just love them and take every opportunity I get to drape them.

This wedding season I plan to wear these simple-but-not-so-simple abstract sarees than heavy ones.

Styled this Cardinal Red saree with simple golden accessories, I don't like too much clutter of Indian Jewellery. Really loved the outcome. Did yoU too? :)

I also got a chance to check out sareez.com and this pretty number is from there.

I love just about everything in this saree, right from it's hue to detailing and the amazingly stitched and styled blouse.

I ordered the blouse from sareez.com itself and I frankly haven't seen such a well stitched blouse yet.

It fit like a dream. So well cut, stitched and finished!

STYLE IT UP | RELIANCE TRENDS

Fashion enthusiasts will never miss an opportunity to experiment and put together new looks.

Check out these looks I put together
at the Reliance Trends, Thane showroom.

First look is extremely simple but with a quirky touch.
What I loved the most is it's fit and fabric. So comfortable!

Second look is another very classy appeal with Indian touch.

Played with shades of blue here.

And went for a total eclectic boho for the third look.

Loved the riot of colors!
