I have always admired the Ritu Kumar print ads and the catalogues.
Somewhere in Junior College, I had one of the print ads framed and hung on the wall. It was one that of the signature Ritu Kumar scene... pearls, bindis, royal Rajasthan kinda appeal.
And I had always wanted to recreate that, so here I am trying to subtly recreate that and making it wearable for any day!
In an attempt to do that I wore this kurti as a dress and paired it with this stunning midnight blue jacket. I totally love this jacket, it has some amazing back detailing.
Accessorized it with layers of pearl and went with a bold bindi to create an impact.
